Welcome to our world of 

Orwin English Setters

​Orwin started over 45 years ago.

​We are registered members of Dogs QLD.

​Orwin English Setters are situated In SE QLD.

​We compete with our English Setters in many areas including, Conformation, Obedience, Lure coursing, and Sprint Dog.

We also have had many of our English Setters pass their testing for Certified therapy dogs and work within this field.

You can see our English Setters out and about competing, they are just as happy going on frequent Adventures camping, fishing, day trips/sightseeing, visits to Bunnings and other hardware places, cafes, dog parks and beaches, any other dog friendly stores or restaurants, markets to meet and greet people and other dogs.

All our dogs live inside apart of the family and not in a kennel as they are first and foremost family members and show dogs second.

We fully support the responsible, purposeful breeding and exhibition of purebred dogs and are committed to protecting the English Setter breed we love.

We are only small and will always strive to produce quality English Setters that are physically healthy, structurally sound, Intelligent English Setters with beautiful correct temperaments for the breed who get along with everyone. Either it be sitting on the couch next to their family or willingly compete in any sport.

Importantly we believe in raising well adjusted English Setters from the start.

The girls and boys in our personal program are ANKC Main Registered

Hip and Elbow X-Rayed and Scored

Eyes and Thyroid professionally checked yearly.

BAER Tested

All our English Setters are DNA parentage certified.

We also complete on all our breeding dogs

DNA genetic screening through Orivet

This DNA Breed Specific testing also gives us results for the following 

NCL 

also covering genetic coat and color.

 

Our puppies are raised inside our home utilizing aspects from Puppy Culture and Early Neurological Stimulation methods for the best start possible to their lives.

Orwin English Setters are a small but ambitious team consisting of 
Richard, Alex, Georgia and John
along side us and very much apart of our family is Hope Brown and Chloe Keast.
